what does it take to be an ICT student?

         This is not my first time to experience to be an ICT student. I was third year when I first encounter this subject ICT(Information Communication Technology). This subject helps me a lot especially how to use computer, how to research if we have an assignmensts in school. This subject also teach us how to use the HTML, how to make a presentation using slide show.

Change: It starts with me

          Change? what is that all about? Change! yes it is very simple to utter but it is very difficult for us to do. Everybody wants a change, right? Sometimes, when a person say that word I can't understand 'cause that word has a lot of meaning to me, change for ourselves, change for environment, change for our country, and change for everything.

          Do we really need to have a change? For me, yes it is very important for us to have a change. There are many things that we have to change, first, our attitudes, stop being nonsense, we should look at our surroundings, see what is happening and we should be aware of all the things we do. For the sake of our country, we should discipline ourself and be a good citizen so that we can achieved the progress that we are all dreaming.

My Dream, My Future

          Everyone can make they dreams come true if only they will work hard for it. I am a person who has a lot of dreams in life and I want and hoping that all of those dreams to be achieved. When I was young, I dreamt of being a nurse someday and even today, if we have an activity about our dreams in our class, I've always write that my dream is to become a nurse but there is a doubt in my mind if I can succeed because nowadays there are so many nurses around the world that graduated but many of them do not have jobs and some of them are "tambay". And I don't want to be one of them. I will study hard to achieved my dreams in life because I want to have a good future.

Kannawidan:Ylocos Festival

          Last January 26,2012, Kannawidan had started and ended up on February 5, 2012. It was being celebrated right after the city fiesta. During this festival, there are a lot of events being done during this celebration just to entertain the Ilocanos. They have also the OTOP( One Town One Product). In every Municipality of Ilocos Sur, there is a product being presented that comes from their own municipality like Vigan for Longganisa; Caoayan for Abel Iloco and many more.There are also celebrities came,visit, and entertain the Ilocanos and I think Ilocanos enjoyed it very much. There are a lot of activities done during the Kannawidan festival like "Saniata 2012", Siglat Ilocandia and all the contestants compete for the title.

Equal Rights ,Equal Opportunities

          We are living in a democratic country,that's why we people have the right to expressed his/her ideas and opinions. Since elementary, we often been told by our teachers that all of us are equal,whether you are rich or poor we are all equal.

Responding To Climate Change

          Today we are suffering from what we call "climate change".What is climate change all about?,according to some people,climate change is all about the changing of weather from time to time.Sometimes,we are wondering why is the weather sometimes is very hot and sometimes it's very cold and it's all because of climate change. We must do some things in order to avoid this climate change.Plant a tree and avoid burning plastics to stop climate change.

Promoting Digital Literacy through English Proficiency

               In order for us to communicate with other people especially those who lived in other country, it is necessary for us to study the English language. English is indeed an international language which is very important to our country or all over the world. This is also the language of profession and even when we are dealing with businesses we are using this language.

Chemergy:Chemistry and Science clubbing in Synergy

              What is this theme all about? When I first heard this theme,the first thing that comes into my mind it's all about science and chemistry. I know that both of these are very important in our modern society today. Chemistry is one of the branches of  Science that deals with the study of matter especially its properties, structure ,composition and all the changes it undergoes. 

                Imagine if this will not be contributed all over the world. Do scientists, chemists ,physicists can produce or make a new products which is very important to our daily life that can make our work easier and more comfortable.

My Teacher, My Hero

               Sometimes, most of the people especially children, when they hear the word "hero"they are referring to those they have watched from the televisions or in cinemas like batman, superman and others. Hero, they are not  the one who always saves us in times of danger but they are the one who sacrifice,and give some pieces of advice when somebody else is travelling the wrong path.Yes, I am referring to teachers. Do you consider your teacher as a hero? For me, Yes, I consider them as my hero. Imagine if they will not be here. What will happen in this world? Teachers plays a very important role to us. There will be no professionals scattered like presidents, doctors, nurses, and many more.                                                                                                                                             
                Teachers sacrifice their loved ones just to teach us.They spend more time to us instead of spending time to their families.We considered teachers as our second parents in school,they have to see that we're doing good in school. Many times, students can not see or do not appreciate the effort and sacrifices they have shown to us. We should thank them for all the goodness and kindness of these teachers and also respect them as our exchange for all the knowledge they have given us.
                                                                                       

"My Idol"

                What comes into your mind when you hear the word "Idol"?For me,Idol is awonderful thing that you have in this world.When you have Idol,your life will not be complete if you can't see him/her in one day,you will do everything you can just to see her.Idol can make our life happy and at the same timethey serve also as our inspiration.There are a lot of people we around us that we can idolized,you have there your families,an artists,and many more.
                 For me,the person that I admire most is my mother.Since then,she is the one who always there in times of problems,she is the solving problems in our family.She is the one caring me when I got sick.she will make sure that I am already okay.Sometimes,there are also misunderstanding between us but this won't take any longer.My mother is my Idol,and I'm very proud to have her in my life.

Inauguration of PNoy

     Last July 25,2011,President Benigno Aquino III delivered his 2nd Inaugural Speech.All the Filipinos were busy watching their television during his Inauguration.Many filipinos have high expectation from the Philippine President.As the Philippine President,he gained trust from  all classes of Filipinos,both rich and the poor.
     I was amazed by PNoy because of what he had done after one  year of serving.We all know that being a public servant or leader is not easy especially when problems are being encountered like crisis.

Isulong ang breastfeeding,tama,sapat at ekslusibo

             Every year,in the month of July,we celebrate the month of Nutrition and the theme for this year is all about breastfeeding.Anyway,what is breastfeeding?According to Pauline(my classmate),breastfeeding is an infant with breastmilk from the mother's breast.                                                                                
              Who's mother doesn't like to see their babies strong and healthy?For all we know,no mother do not love and care for her own child,that's why they give importance to the health of their child.What are the benefits can we get from this brestfeeding?If we use breastfeeding we can asssure that the baby will grow faster,strong and active.You don't have to bother anything in order to feed your babies,just use this kind of feeding and you will surely your babies will have a good nutrition.For all the mothers out there,use breastfeeding because this is good for all the babies.

Letter to the president

Dear Mr.President
                How are you today sir?are you happy?.Well,anyway,I would like to greet you a pleasant day sir.Many people in this country have great expectations on you Mr.President.that you will do your duties and responsibility to solve all the problems that we are facing now,like crisis,corruption and also about this rapid growth population.What are you planning to do in order to solve this kind problems?.We are hoping sir that you will donate more books to all schools especially our school because we don't have enough books to use.
